Victoria's page raising money for a cause that has affected my family.

London Marathon 2017 · 23 April 2017 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So... I have thought about doing the Marathon for some time now and never got there - I won a place in the ballot and realised if I dont do it now I probably never will. I have already started my training and in doing so have lost 2 stone so far so double win!! I have chosen to run for Alzheimer's as my Dad has been diagnosed with this horrible disease that robs families of the people they love. It has been awful to see the decline in my Dad since having this problem and it changes the personality of the sufferer so much that its almost hard to remember the person they once were. Families living with sufferers of Alzheimers will know what a challenge it is every single day, and how heartbreaking it is to see the person you know and love gradually loosing all independence and dignity. Please give generously to help other people in the future and find a cure for this horrible disease and hang on to their loved ones.
My step children also lost their Grandfather to this disease recently so for my family -it means a lot
