Story
In September 2022, I will be completing a 46km multi day trek through the Swiss, French and Italian Alps to raise money for the Warrington branch of the Cats Protection.
My own sweet cat, Tuesday, was rescued from this branch over 8 years ago. She is a sweet, gentle cat despite being plagued with severe skin allergies that make her itchy and sore.
I’ve chosen to take on this challenge as I want to support the rehoming and neutering of local cats and help to provide them with funds to carry on their work. As a veterinary nurse, I know how important these charities are to cats.
The challenge will be physically hard, I’ve started hiking within the last 6 month and love how rewarding it is and how much it benefits my mental, as well as physical health. This will likely be my hardest trek to date and I will be training for several months to ensure a good level of fitness so I can really enjoy the experience and push myself.
I am paying for the trip itself (flights, accommodation, etc) myself so all donations will go straight to the cats! Please consider donating to help me support the work the Cats Protection do.
