We are two final year Dental Students at the University of Dundee who have been involved with The Ben Walton Trust helping to raise awareness about Oral Cancer.  It is rapidly on the increase and globally the sixth most common cancer. If it is caught early it can lead to a significant survival rate. So as part of our commitment to promoting awareness about Oral Cancer we have decided to take on the Challenge of the Paris Half Marathon on the 8th March 2015.  It is our target to raise £700 which will all go straight to The Ben Walton Trust.

Quite frequently amongst our hectic dental school schedules we like to hang up our tunics and get to the gym or for a Riverside run. We have completed previous running races in decent times in the past and it is our aim to achieve these, if not better, as well as raise awareness about Oral Cancer !!  So it is time for action - 'Beat our times, Beat Oral Cancer'.
