Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, a page created to help raise funds for CHILDREN OF THE MOUNTAIN, a fantastic charity whose aim is to address the needs of children in Nepal by building futures ONE CHILD, ONE SCHOOL AT A TIME.  The charity is committed to providing access to education for all, ensuring NO CHILD IS LEFT BEHIND.  The focus lies in the area of Tandrang in Ghorka district, which sits in the shadows of the mighty Manaslu. The area has 10 schools and 2,000 pupils.

At 8,156m Manaslu is the highest peak of the Gurkha massif and is the eighth highest mountain in the world.  My summit attempt will give me valuable experience to conquer my lifelong dream of climbing the Seven Summits.

You cannot fail to fall in love with Nepal and its people.  Despite being ranked one of the poorest countries in the world, smiles and laughter are abundant.  So please dig deep and help me to help CHILDREN OF THE MOUNTAIN continue the great work that they do.  Every donation, whether it folds or jingles, will make great steps to giving children the start in life that they deserve.

Thank you

Victoria
