Virgin Money Cyclone 2014 · 21 June 2014 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Grandma suffered with Alzheimer's disease for the last 7 years of her life. It is a terrible disease which robs your memory, personality and dignity. However, this disease affects more than just the individual as they become utterly dependent on those around them. More needs to be done not only to support those who are diagnosed but also their carers. I am taking part in this challenge to try to help make this happen. This is what I will be doing: https://virginmoneycyclone.co.uk/CycloneChallenge.asp?ShowPage=549
