Story
My Nick was diagnosed with a brain tumour aged 29, and battled for 5 years, undergoing numerous treatments.
At the beginning of 2020 things took a turn for the worst, and when we were told he didn’t have much longer to live, he began to focus on what he wanted to leave the world with when he was gone. His legacy was important, but making sure others around him would be okay, including me, his wife, and our two 17-month old twin daughters, was his priority.
Unfortunately, aged only 34, Nick lost his fight with cancer in November 2020.
Collectively, we hope that other families that have to go through what we have, have the opportunity to benefit from the support which we received, whether it be through new treatments, learning to cope with lifestyle changes that cancer brings, financial advice for dependants, or simply somewhere warm and homely to be cared for.
In Nicks memory we hope to help make this happen, so we dedicate this fundraising page to raising money to to support brain tumour research to support other families fighting the same battle.
Please donate generously. It really will make a difference to so many.
