Story
Please help me to exceed my goal and help people to deal and live with a cancer diagnosis
Christmas 2017 my Dad / Grandad was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer.
The following Summer we then lost my dear Step-mum / Grandma Liz to Ovarian Cancer.
My Dad died yesterday. Watching him in pain was pure torture, he finally passed painlessly and at peace, surrounded by family.
I decided to do a tandem skydive and raise money in their honour. I booked it for the 16th June which have since found out is coincidentally Father’s Day 2019.
CANCER SUCKS!!
The wonderful team at Keighley & Airedale Cancer Support (KACS) help people affected by a Cancer diagnosis. From those going through diagnosis, chemo, surgery and living with cancer etc to their families and friends in dealing with the long term crap that Cancer throws at them.
This charity truly does amazing things and without their help, I for one would not have the strength to do this skydive yet alone keep going through the hell of cancer!
Please give as much as you can afford no matter how big or small as every penny counts in helping people in the same position.
