Story
This October, I'm taking on Challenge 135km 🤍
Every week in the UK, 135 people are diagnosed with MS. That's 135 lives changed in an instant – along with the lives of their families, friends and loved ones.
Whilst my diagnosis at 35 years old came out of nowhere when loosing the use of my leg and immense pressure behind my eye.
Right now my treatment is working and for that I'm incredibly grateful so with the help of my consultant and MS Nurse I’m hoping to raise some money towards vital research to help women like myself who are mum’s be here and as active as much as possible for their children and to help with the signs of MS with a little further education on the condition.
I've realised there's only two things I can do about all of this:
1. Learn to live with MS but never to wallow in it.
2. Try to squeeze in as much joy into life as I possibly can with my family who are my absolute world.
None of us are promised certainty but we are given this moment to live. So when life is good, make sure you enjoy and receive it fully. When life is not so good, remember that it will not last forever and better days are on the way. Always be kind in any situation.
Here is to the next chapter of supporting people from the moment they're diagnosed and beyond 💫 ✨
