The day is almost here! Tomorrow I'll be walking a marathon for Cancer Research UK during Shine London. Got my walking shoes, signage and of course stuff to be all shiny!! Thank you to everyone who has donated to this page so far - pictures to follow soon!

Hello!

 

In a fit of determination (or sheer lunacy - I have yet to decide) I've signed up to WALK a marathon on September 29th 2012 in support of Cancer Research UK. 

 

Although I am fortunate enough not to have been touched by cancer as yet, I know many friends and family (along with many of their friends and family) who have been. It may be too late for some of those individuals who have lost their battle with cancer but I'm hoping to meet or exceed my modest fundraising target in memory of their struggles. I also hope to be able to contribute, in some small way at least, to the search for a cure for those still battling. 

 

Every penny, cent, dollar and pound counts!
