Story
Call it a midlife crisis, a bucket list dream, celebrating my 40th year in style, but I have always wanted to run the London Marathon even before I became a runner and I am privileged to be part of the MS-UK team for 2018.
My Dad ran the London Marathon and this will be such an honour to run where he ran before being diagnosed with MS in 2001. Seeing first hand how this disease can change someone's life who up to that point had been very fit and healthy is very hard. But I am so proud of my Dad that he did not to see it as the end, to take what life throws at you and say you know what, I can't do that now, but I can do this. MS-UK is able to give to others the help, support and belief that he has if they don't.
MS-UK was established in 1993, and is a national charity dedicated to empowering people with multiple sclerosis to make the most of today, and live life to the full.MS-UK put people affected by MS at the heart of the work that they do. They provide high quality, professional services to support people living with multiple sclerosis, and they listen to people affected by MS.
