I've been running this race for two years, inspired by family members who have suffered, won and lost to cancer. Unfortunately there is a new family member to add to the list this year who is fighting this battle. I don't enjoy running and so this isn't about improving my race time - please encourage me to run and give to this valuable research in the process, but more importantly encourage those who are fighting this disease.
