I have never wanted to run further than 10km, but I've decided to embrace the challenge in my 50th year and go for it. I will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon and raising funds for a vital cause.

I was shocked to learn recently that in England, a record 145,800 children were recorded as being homeless in 2024 - that is the highest it's ever been. Shelter help to support homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless, primarily with housing advice and also with employment opportunities.
