Every five minutes in the UK someone experiences rape, attempted rape or sexual assault by penetration. 15% of girls and 5% of boys have experienced sexual violence by the time they are sixteen.
We are going to be completing the 24 hour National Three Peak Challenge in June 2023. We will be testing both our minds and bodies to raise awareness for others who have been raped, attempted rape or sexually assaulted and to raise money for PARCS (Portsmouth Abuse and Rape Counselling Service).
In 2016, I was subjected to a very traumatic experience, one that NO ONE should EVER have to go through.
Now after 6 years of healing, I want to reach out to those who are on a similar journey and show that with time you can learn to breath again. With the right support you will find the calm when the panic sets in.
