LSEG 2018 Zurich-Milan Cycle Challenge
Campaign by UNICEF UK (RCN 1072612 (England & Wales) and SC043677 (Scotland))
On 13 September, a group of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) cyclists will take on an epic ride through the Alps. They're raising vital funds for UNICEF's work for children caught in emergencies.

Story

Dear family and friends,

This September, we’re cycling from Zurich to Milan, through some small hills known as the Alps, to raise money for UNICEF’s Children’s Emergency Fund. Over 4 days, the route covers 530 kilometers with just under 10 kilometers of vertical climbing, including the brutal Stelvio Pass.

About the charity:

Today, millions of children live in countries affected by conflict or disaster. UNICEF’s Children’s Emergency Fund delivers life-saving supplies rapidly to children affected by conflict and natural disaster, enabling them access to safe food, water, medicine, and quality education.

While Nirmal proclaims to be a mountain goat and thrives in the high mountains, I still struggle on even the shortest of ramps, which means these 4 days are going to hurt! Any donation you make will go a long way to children desperately in need of your support, and will make this ridiculous challenge (100% Nirmal’s idea) a lot more worthwhile!

With thanks,

Vimal & Nirmal
