Story

This May, I am supporting Children's Heartbeat Trust by completing their Mile A Day in May Challenge. I will be walking a mile every day for the month of May to raise sponsorship and awareness of the charity's vital work supporting local children in Northern Ireland with congenitial heart disease.

Our son Vincent was diagnosed with S.V.T (Supraventricular Tachycardia) Wolff- Parkinson-White syndrome when I was 20 weeks pregnant.  He has a twin brother Sebastian, so treating him proved tricky, however under Professor Caseys care and the wonderful RVH team we are fortunate and have 2 great wee boys. Vincent was stabilised in the wonderful Clark Clinic, where he was cared for by the dedicated team of nurses. Vincent is a warrior and he faces challenges head on with passion, bravery and courage.  Its a small mile a day walk for me, but any money raised has a big positive impact for children and families supported by the charity.

Thank you for supporting us, any donations would be greatly appreciated.
