Vintage Road Run · 3 June 2017

Musgrove Hospital in Taunton is the largest general hospital in Somerset and serves a population of 340,000. Charitable donations are used to support the work carried on at the hospital by purchasing services and equipment which would not otherwise be provided.

Story

The 25th Vale of Avalon vintage car road run is taking place on  Saturday 2nd June.

Starting from Bretenoux Road, Glastonbury (BA6 8LZ). Cars in position by 4pm for a 5pm start. Driving to Burnham sea front.

Raising funds for  Musgrove’s eye unit.

Last year almost 100 vehicles took part , ranging from 1930s Austins and a Ferrari F355 Berlinetta to a Second World War AEC Matador gun tractor and 1954 Wolseley police car.

All money raised will be going to Musgrove Park Hospital Eye Department, to expand our scanner clinics to allow faster access to care so we can continue to treat the large number of patients that need monitoring for retinal disease and glaucoma in Somerset.
