Willen Hospice Tandem Skydive · 13 May 2018 ·

Can you picture yourself soaring over the magnificent Northamptonshire countryside? Sky-diving is an unforgettable experience and a brave and inspiring way for you to support Willen Hospice.

Story

Nana Vi was one of those characters that simply made you smile always. Nana always had a story to tell, a hilarious question about technology, a funny way of explaining things, a strong personality (probably where I get it from) and a brilliant / hilarious / stubborn way of getting exactly what she wanted.

Nana Vi was 94 when she died in Feb 2017 after going into Willen Hospice in October 2016. I find it really hard to put into words exactly what the hospice did for my Nana and for the family but needless to say it made that period of time for us more bearable.

Willen Hospice has to raise £7 every single minute to run. That is £420 per hour. £10,080 per day. They do get some government funding but it is less than a quarter of what they need to offer this incredible support.

So I am going to be throwing myself out of a plane to raise some pennies. I am doing this with my cousin James too and we have created team Violets Pilots!  At the VERY LEAST we want to raise enough money to enable the hospice to run for an hour each - so a target of £500 for me and a target of £500 for him. However imagine if we could raise enough for 2, 3, 5, 10 or even 24 hours. Please dig deep!

I have never done a sky dive before and am entirely terrified. So all the sponsorship will MAKE me do the jump in honour of my Great Nana.

Thank you for getting involved. Love ya!
