My father, Patwant Singh Virdi, passed very suddenly and unexpectedly on 11 October 2012.  The shock of his passing devasted his family.  The road back has been hard.

I decided to enter the London to Windsor cycle ride in his memory. He was such a loving person with a zest for life who brought so much laughter and joy into our lives.  

As he had a great affinity with children, I choose a children's charity, the NSPCC.  They do great work for a lot of under-privileged children, so please dig deep.
