Through donations to the Jay Massad Annual Campaign, the Rappahannock Area YMCA has provided membership, program assistance and community support to local children, adults and families in need.  Over 1,000 families have received assistance for our programs!

In 2019, over 200 at-risk youth experienced ZERO summer learning loss thanks to the YMCA Power Scholars program, 315 children in need were provided clothing, backpacks and supplies to get their school year off to a great start and 500 second graders learned life-saving water safety skills in our 2nd grade Learn to Swim program.  Plus, one out of four children in our school aged child care program rely on the financial assistance provided through the Jay Massad Annual Campaign in order to have a safe place to go before and after school.
