In 2019 my mum 'Joan Griffiths' has the worst possible news that she had Pancreatic cancer. I knew very little about the disease, but it is brutal and watching my Mum go through the unimaginable I decided to take on the challenge of running my first marathon to raise money to help fund the fight against pancreatic cancer. My Mum is now fighting every day and it's now time for me to dig deep and take on one the hardest challenges of my life. Her courage, strength and fight will help me along the way.
Please help me try and raise some much needed funds to fight and hopefully beat, Pancreatic cancer. Which is the toughest cancer to diagnose, treat and survive. 1 in 4 people won’t survive a month. 3 in 4 won’t survive for a year. We fund research, provide support and campaign to take on this tough cancer together.
Thank you in advance.
