Story

As most off you know I got a place in the London Marathon. I've decided to run it for charity. One thats very close to my heart, Pancreatic Cancer UK. After losing my mum in July to this terrible disease I cant think of a bigger reason to finish than to finish in my mum's memory and raising money at the same time. It's a lot to ask people to donate again after doing the Great North Run for Barnsley Hospice last year but I cant tell you how much it would mean to me. Mum was diagnosed in April and sadly lost her battle in July. More needs to be done to improve survival rates and every penny will help. Thank you in advance.

Pancreatic cancer is a tough one but we’re taking it on. It is tough to diagnose, tough to treat, tough to research and tough to survive. For too long this disease has been sidelined. We want to make sure that everyone affected by it gets all the help they need. We are supporting those affected by the disease, investing in ground breaking research, lobbying for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer and being a voice for everyone involved in the fight. Together we are taking on pancreatic cancer.
