Story

Salisbury Dog Trainers & Ford Alpacas, bring you the "Wessex Country Fair, fun dog show". This two part event opens on Friday 2nd July, entries via https://www.facebook.com/salisburydogtrainers17 or info@salisburydogtrainers.co.uk. Closing date for virtual entries is  22nd August 2021. There will be 10 finalists selected from each class. Those finalists will be invited to the main event at Ford Alpacas farm, Ford, Salisbury. We have over £2000 in prizes +Rosettes- Trophies for the winners.

We have hosted this event at the Wessex Country Fair before and we held an online event last year. With the Covid -19 restrictions changing all the time, the Wessex country fair is postponed this year. As a result, we have decided to take on the task of raising those all important funds for our wonderful hospice.

The event is being judged both online and in the live final by Jenni Molland- An international dog trainer/behaviourist and a multiple award winning dog show competitor. This includes a win in the "Best Bitch" Category.

This is a fun dog show, not to serious and so everyone is in with a chance.

About the charity

The hospice costs £2.9 million to run, with Salisbury Hospice Charity aiming to raise £1.5 million of the funding required. Over 1,000 people a year are helped both in the hospice and in the wider community. Without your help this could not have been achieved. Thank you.
