VRC’s 2.5 hours of Bathurst · 29 January 2021

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. By providing families with somewhere to stay near their child they have one less thing to worry about.

Story

We at the Virtual Racers Club are a cracking little community. We hold regular sim racing leagues and events.

We host a regular 2.5 hour event, which we have decided to utilise for good.

We have a driver who regularly uses a Sick Children’s Trust livery on his cars and has a story where SCT made a massive difference to him and his family in the past. Most of us in the club are father’s and we can all relate to the difficulties, both physical and mental, of being separated from our children, especially when they would need us most!

Our event - 15 racers in 2 different classes of car will take each other on for 2.5 hours around the infamous Bathurst (Mount Panorama) race circuit. It has been shown in previous, similar events that this will not be an easy task, the  racers will be feeling the slog at about the 90 minute mark and will feel their efforts afterwards too.

Racers will be required to make a donation to enter the race.

£10 for Group 3, £5 for Group 4.

Any and all additional donations would be massively appreciated by us at the Virtual Racers Club and the Sick Children’s Trust.

Thankyou
