A Charity Skipathon will be taking place on Monday 25th May 2020. Each participant will be skipping for 30 minutes with or without stops at home.

On the day everyone will be skipping on their own during the 30 minute window (as we continue to follow social distancing guidelines). I kindly ask you to take a "time stamped" video/photo to share with me and or friends and family to show that you have taken part in the event. 

I will then be putting a montage together of all the attempts for circulation to our group and across social media.

There’s a request for a minimum of a £1 donation to join in via just giving. We are raising money to go directly to the association of NHS charities and the success of this fundraising event will rely heavily on people’s support (through onward sharing with all friends and family). Any and all donations are welcome whether you join in or not. 

Fun fact...The current world record for the most people skipping simultaneously (multiple venue) is set at 70,880 people (source Guinness book of world records). This was set in California, USA on 1st February 2010.

Wouldn’t it be fantastic to see how many people we can get and in turn how much we could raise for this worthy cause.
