Walk For All · 3 June 2023

Our charity offers a meaningful option for young people living with a disability, aged 17+. We are driven by one goal; for our young adults to be as independent as possible. We promote this by fully including them in all aspects of the community. Our young adults enjoy a programme of activities that are fun, interesting, and motivational. These activities are part of our ‘Developing Skills for Life’ programme where we encourage our young adults to participate in work experience and volunteering to gain valuable work skills. We try to integrate our members into the local community and wider communities as much as possible to promote social inclusion and health and well-being.

Story

At Vision25, we offer a meaningful option for young people living with a disability, aged 17 plus. Group sizes are kept small and our staffing ratio is one member of staff to three young adults to always maintain a family feel. We are open Monday - Saturday, 51 weeks of the year. The day starts at 9 am and ends at 3:30 pm Our day is revolved around promoting independence and social inclusion by utilising our 4 aims.

Our sponsored walk will be at MSV Middlesbrough's sports Village starting from 11:30am on June 3rd where people off ALL abilities will come together to show just how able we are as a team!! And walk a great distance around the athletics track. Stalls, snacks, and entertainment will also be part of our event with more info COMING SOON
