We provide emergency critical care to 2.1m people of Bristol & local counties

Story

Viv died of ovarian cancer on 1st June and  in her memory we are setting up JustGiving pages for two of the charities she supported.

GWAAC was a charity close to Viv's heart.  They attended her son Billy when he slipped from some monkey bars at school and hurt his neck.

Founded in 2008, GWAAC are a charity funded Air Ambulance service who are ready to save the lives of local people.

They provide life saving emergency care to people who cannot be reached by road, or are in a state so critical that they require the specialist skills of our team at the scene of the accident.

Though they are part of the regional 999 response service and work closely with NHS hospitals, they are a charity entirely funded by local people.
