Instead of a party and presents for my 70th Birthday  I am setting myself a challenge to walk the coastal path of the Isle of Wight. Seventy miles  in 7 days. Starting on the 23rd May 2022. In doing this I would like to raise money for Restoration of Hope in Burundi. This is a charity that provides aid, by way of food, education and support to children and young adults who are orphaned, many rough sleepers, or from poverty stricken families. Their work across Burundi provides vital aid to many in need and it transforms lives, supporting young people into their adult lives in order for them to support themselves and others in the future.
