I am doing a sponsored sky dive for Dementia UK (hopefully covid permitting) on 02.07.21. I have paid for this out of my own money so any sponsors I receive will ALL go to DementiaUK.

Anyone that knows me, knows what a massive challenge this will be for me. I am absolutely petrified of heights! 

I have chosen to do this jump for Dementia UK because I am a nurse and a unit manager of the memory lane community (dementia unit as some of you know it) at Rivermead. I have witnessed first hand how cruel dementia is. I have been working with barchester for almost 12 years now, I have seen how it affects people in all walks of life, how it doesn't just affect the person but also their family and how no dementia journey is EVER the same. 

I hope one day with all the research and money raised no one will ever have to go through the heart ache that is, DEMENTIA!! 

I am doing this jump in honor of all my lovely residents past and present. ❤
