Story

Hi again,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Liam Waddington, other known as Vizeh. I'm an online content creator with over 240,000 subscribers. Welcome to my fourth annual #ForMum Charity event, where we raise money for MS Society in memory of my mum.

In the last 3 years, I've completed online endurance streaming challenges, where I live stream on YouTube or Twitch without sleep for 50 or even 60 hours straight. This is largely mentally draining, of the thought of consistency interacting with my chat or during games became more and more disorintating and painful. Despite these being successes, raising over £15,000 in the process of those 3 years. I want to try something new...

So this year i'm pushing myself to my complete limit, i've always wanted to get into fitness, having trying Intermitent Fasting with some success, staying to a good diet of Protein, Low Carbs, Drinking water and going Gym 4-5 Times a week. I always find myself falling out of the trend, going back to my normal routine. This time it's different, in doing a fitness challenge everyday in memory of my mum, and documenting all my progress online, i'm forcing myself to complete it. No excuses to not wake up early and get myself out of bed to be proactive.

The Challenge begins on 19th January to 17th Feburary. I'm going to document each day on my 2nd Channel called 'Vi2eh', I'll be streaming my progress and workout each day on my Facebook Gaming and uploading it on my YouTube. Including documenting my progress on Twitter and on my Page.

What is the One Punch Man Challenge?

The OPM Workout Routine is based on a popular Japanese Superhero show named after himself. During the show explained his routine of being so strong, 100 Push Ups, 100 Sit Ups, 100 Squats, 10km Run, Every. Single. Day.

This workout became a trend online, including YouTube, and has become a fasination of mine to attempt and see how i'd do, and most important, how much can my body transform.

What is Multiple Sclerosis (MS)?

Multiple Sclerosis is a life-long disease that to this date has NO CURE. This disease affects your brain, spinal cord, and the optic nerves in your eyes. It also causes problems with vision, balance and muscle control and other basic body functions.

Stats

2,500,000 people across the world suffer from MS.

200 new cases of MS found each week

People mainly diagnosed between ages 20-60

So why Multiple Sclerosis Society?

My mum was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis before I was born, this impacted my mums life drastically over a course of 14 years. In which from my childhood, day by day I watched my mum slowly and slowly get weaker, many times I came back home from Primary School on her suffering on the floor unable to get up, with nothing I can do to help. This lasted until she was inevitably put in a wheelchair for many years relying on others to survive.

Until time ran out for her.

At this time of my life I needed a coping mechanism, so I started doing scary game videos on a channel called Vizeh that was my Xbox Gamertag. The time I spent recording, editing and making videos helped me massively when 14, living for that one comment from anyone showing support to keep me going.

8 years later, those few videos have turned into 1932 videos, and somehow i've gained an audience that means the absolute world to me, cause without them, my life would be much more different. Now it's 2021, i've learnt so much about myself, how to live and know how truly strong I am. I want to make people proud.

So now I want to do everything I can to ensure that others don't go through what my mum went through.
