At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

I decided to walk part of the Camino for several reasons, but, most importantly to raise some money for the Alzheimer's Society.  My darling mother passed away just last year having battled against this disease for many years.

In her honour, I intend to walk 100 kms in five days, finishing at the Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela  on 2nd October.

My dearest friend, Conchita, is making this journey with me.  We are walking, self guided, across part of Northern Spain, come rain or shine!

Any donation you may wish to make would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to read this ..wish us luck!!
