Story

So I'm going to walk for charity. Going to get off my sofa and do something useful for a change. And I aim to be walking 10k steps per day between 16th and 22nd April this year.

10k steps. Per day. For a week.

As a fatty, this is alien to me. Exercise is my enemy. But to do this I'll need water so I don't pass out from fatty-too-fat-to-move disease. I can just get water from anywhere, pretty much.

But some women and girls cannot - it's just not doable. Loads of reasons why and one of them is lack of funding to build safe local wells.

I'm not usually one to do this sort of thing but for various reasons, this resonates with me. So with your help we can make a difference, even if it's small.

A few pence, a few quid - the price of a cuppa. Or even a bottle of water. It's not much, is it? Think about it at least :)

P.S The picture above is nothing to do with the charity walk, it's just a funny looking fish picture I have on my phone. Looks like a cross between Jo Brand and John Sergeant. But a fish.
