This year we have added our own spin to the official IWD theme of #ChooseToChallenge by challenging IHS Markit employees to Celebrate the achievements of women close to them, Donate to a good cause and spread the word to colleagues across the globe, by Nominating another colleague to do the challenge.

We have called this challenge #CelebrateDonateNominate and as part of this we are asking our colleagues to help raise funds to support the official IWD 2021 Charities of Choice and their supporters.

International Women's Day (IWD) provides a perfect opportunity to fundraise for female-focused charities, help raise their visibility, and amplify their awareness raising efforts. 2020 saw IWD raise a hefty six-figure sum for charity. 100% of the proceeds went direct to charity.

World Association of Girl Guides & Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is the largest international youth movement dedicated to girls and young women, supporting over 10 million girls across 150 countries and is an IWD Charity of Choice since 2007.

Help forge women's equality by donating to a registered charity or non-profit that works for the advancement of women and girls. Donating to these groups means choosing to challenge inequality and supporting their important work. There are many commendable groups worldwide.
