Story
Some of the greatest rewards in life come from conquering your fears.
On the 9th July 2022 the team at Wahoo Learning will be overcoming theirs fears and undertaking a tandem skydive. Eloise, Nicola, Maria, Mark and Lloyd will be leaping from 15,000ft and reaching speeds of 120mph, they’ll be taking a leap toward conquering their own fears and raising money for great causes.
Across the two charities we are supporting we hope to raise over £2,000, so please support us and the two great charities we are supporting.
Why Bowel Cancer UK?
Just short of a year ago, my cousin, Donna Lee, received the news that she had bowel cancer, which despite suffering almost no symptoms before, was advanced and had spread to her liver. For almost a year she bravely fought to overcome the disease but sadly lost that fight on the 21st April 2022, aged just 40. Donna was a bright star in this world, caring, gentle and beautiful. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
We lost a truly wonderful soul that day, but I am sure she would have wanted some good to come of it, which is why we have chosen to support Bowel Cancer UK. They supported Donna following her diagnosis and throughout her treatment. Bowel Cancer is a disease that affects 1 in 18 people in the UK and yet it is rarely talked about. Bowel Cancer UK seeks to raise awareness, provide funds for research and importantly support those affected by the disease.
