Story

On 16th Sep I will be challenging myself to do the National 3 peaks, climbing Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Mount Snowdon in 24hrs. It is a gruelling climb up & down which will be both physically and mentally exhausting.I'm taking part with The Akhirah Project who are supporting FOBE to establish a state of the art Sensory Room at their new Disability Support Centre in Luton. This specially designed space will have a range of equipment to help individuals stimulate, develop and engage their different senses. This will include lights, colours, sounds & sensory soft play resources all housed within a safe environment that allows the child using it to explore and interact without risk. Not many spaces like this exist and it isn't easily available for families in Luton to access. FOBE will provide opportunities for hundreds of children to access support including the sensory room on a weekly basis. Please donate whatever you can and make a difference for our local disabled children.
