Daniel and David will be cycling the whole of Wales in October 2019. Their route takes them from Cardiff up to Rhos on Sea. Chiefly following the National Cycle Route 8 (or Lon Las Cymru), they will be sampling some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet - taking in some of the delightful hills of Brecon and Snowdonia. 

Neither Dan nor Dave are cycling enthusiasts per se, but both have spent the last couple of months cramming in as much cycle-time as possible to get match-fit for the trip, which starts on October 24, will last 4 days and span around 200 miles.

But why are they doing this and why have they set up a Just Giving page? Dan and Dave belong to a close group of friends, where one of the members of the group recently received the worst news possible: their 9 year old little girl is terminally ill. This lovely lovely family have had their worlds turned upside down. The family are currently trying to make as many memories as they can over the next few months and would also like to help give something back to some of the many charities that have helped and continue to help them through this difficult time.

The family have been completely blown away by the support and love shown by their family, friends, strangers and all of the different charities, who have all come to their aid to comfort and help them. As the father said, "there are charities big and small who have been set up by people like us, who have been affected in the same way as we have". CLIC Sargent are one of the charities that have helped the family and so Dan and Dave have obliged by riding through Wales to raise and give a little something back to this fantastic charity.
