My good friend Jenny Breckell and her partner are raising money for their little boy Charlie, who is three years old and has Cerebral Palsy, to have life changing surgery. This operation will give him a chance at being able to walk in the future and a higher level of independence. They have been told by doctors that Charlie is a perfect candidate for the surgery, but as it is not available on the NHS they will need to raise £25,000 for this to go ahead.
More information on their story and the operation can be found here: http://www.treeofhope.org.uk/charlie-connick/
They are a lovely family who really deserve this. I will be joining Jenny to do the 15 mile Wirral Coastal Walk on 18 June, more information on which can be found here: http://www.wirralcoastalwalk.org/
Any donations would be massively appreciated.
