Cancer in children & young people (aged 0–24) is different to cancer in adults – from the types of cancer, to the impact of treatment & the long-term side effects survivors often experience. Through research we’re determined to overcome some of the different challenges these cancers present.

Story

Hello
Everyone

In the usual TJX Community Spirit, the UK South Loss Prevention team have decided to take on a bit of an Exciting (and possibly painful!) challenge.
Which we would really like your support with.

What on earth?

So…
Paul Kobzik, one of our LP’s has offered to do a rather spectacular challenge
for one of our most beloved charities Cancer Research UK Kids and Teens.

So what is this incredible challenge?
Well….
Between Tuesday 10th and Monday 23rd September 2019, Paul will be walking circa 380 miles from Boston in Lincolnshire all the way down to Truro in Cornwall…. (Yes he is crazy!)  Walking between 25 and 30 miles every day for 14 days and he will have up to 6 different colleagues joining him each day.

WHY?!

Paul and many of the LP South Regional Team and wider Business Partners have experienced personally or through friends, the devastation of Children and Young People enduring Cancer.  It’s a charity close to all our hearts and we feel a good enough reason to walk 25-30 miles in a day.
