So what is Dòchas Education Trust doing in Malawi?  Training teachers and seeking to upgrade their qualifications; getting marginalised children back to school; helping to provide for children with disabilities such as visual impairment; raising community awareness of children's rights and tackling issues such as discrimination, child labour, HIV Aids, early pregnancies; school dropout rates;  training church leaders and children's workers; providing practical support to mothers and babies.  In short seeking to bring about transformation through education, training and practical support.
