Walk for William's Syndrome · 1 May 2021

The Williams Syndrome Foundation was formed in 1980 and is run by parents for parents of children with this rare condition which causes heart and kidney problems and learning difficulties. It desperately needs funds to finance its ambitious research and family support programmes which include national conventions and regional meetings.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are aiming to raise as much money as possible for the William's Syndrome Foundation. Our challenge is to raise awareness one step at a time throughout the month of May.

1 in 18,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with Williams Syndrome, Aoife-Brooke is one of these unique individuals.

Williams Sybdrome is non-hereditary and causes distinctive facial characteristics and a wide range of learning difficulties. Infants often have delayed development and can develop physical and mental health problems, including anxiety and depression in later life. WS people tend to be talkative and excessively friendly towards adults.

Please help is spread awareness and raise some funds for an amazing charity that goes above and beyond to support the families they work with.
