Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Walk & Talk is a joint effort between Thameside and Greenford depots in support of mental health awareness and an opportunity to get out for a walk and a chance to talk, for people who need it.

We will have two teams setting off from each depot simultaneously on Saturday the 17th of July. The route from Thameside will run along the Thames to Greenwich, through the foot tunnel to the Isle of Dogs and along the Regent's Canal from Limehouse Basin. The route from Greenford will follow the Grand Union Canal into central London and pick up the Regents Canal. We plan to meet at Granary Square (behind Kings Cross Station) which is about 12.5 miles from each depot.

Our local MIND does a terrific job supporting local community in many different ways, during the pandemic many of their normal revenue streams & donations have been adversely affected.

The pandemic aftermath will stretch the charities resources
even more as the local community turns to them for support, so please donate however small, your donation will make a difference.

To read more about their work in the community see their
website https://blgmind.org.uk/

When donating please remember to click the GIFT AID button, this will allow the charity to gain more funds at no extra cost to yourself.
