Story

Hi, welcome and thank you for visiting my page!

I am doing an internship at the Rosie May foundation because i volunteered to support the charity as the charity is close to my heart for different reasons. I admire the charity because it aims to support families and children in crisis, especially women and girls.

I decided to contribute to the charity by challenging myself to get out there and walk 10,000 steps everyday for 5 days a week. For me, this is a great way to welcome spring back into my life especially since being stuck in lockdown for so long. I quite enjoy walking because it keeps me healthy and I get to connect with nature. I encourage you to do the same by joining myself and my teammates on this wonderful journey.

The outcome for this fundraising is to help the charity by donating as much or as little as you wish. If you decide to join us with a friend, feel free to let them know they can donate at the end of your session.  Remember, every penny counts and can make a difference in someone’s life.

So, put a spring in your step this April with our 50:50 challenge!

As we start to come out of lockdown and the weather begins to get brighter, there is no better time to go for a walk and a chat with a friend! This is a great opportunity to connect and enjoy each other’s company by inviting your friends to go on the walk with you, or you can chat to them on the phone during your walk and let them know if they wish to contribute.

We are challenging anyone who can, to walk 50,000 steps a week and raise £50 for the Rosie May Foundation during April and if you reach the money target, you’ll be rewarded with a goodie bag!

Good luck to anyone who wishes to join us.
