Keith Henry is raising money for Alzheimer's Society
In memory of Gordon Henry
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Dad  - Gordon Henry died on December 23rd 2007. He had been a professional footballer, playing for St Mirren, Aberdeen , Aldershot and many local clubs in the Aldershot area.He was a great Dad and never showed his disappointmnet that I never followed in his footsteps ,in his love of the game.

Mum and I miss him dearly.

I am not sure if heading a football like a medicine ball  in the 50's and 60's did anything to bring on  his vascular dementia and associated alzheimers condition ,but I don't think it could have helped.

I will be walking in Weston -Super mare on 12th September in a memory walk for Dad in aid of the Alzheimers society to raise money for research/help into this horrible degenerative disease.
