Story
Since finding out about a hole in my heart and two veins not operating correctly all the way back in May life was tipped upside down completely with worry, anxiety and fear.
In October I had open heart surgery to put right what I was born with.
The toughest journey Iv been through.
But it was a blessing finding this as it's something that went unnoticed and could have caused severe damage.
I'm forever grateful for that.
My family and friends have supported me and kept me strong through out and I can't express what it has meant.
The love has truly been felt.
I’m ready and starting my next phase of recovery with exercise and moving no matter how far and how long. This February I’m setting targets to help raise money for BHF
I'm helping to keep hearts beating this Heart Month by taking on the Walk for Hearts challenge throughout February to help fund lifesaving research. Every three minutes, someone in the UK dies from cardiovascular disease. With your support, British Heart Foundation can power research that will enable people to live longer, healthier lives.
