Story
I'm walking 100km with my dog this September in memory of Hendrix to raise funds to support bereaved families and save babies' lives.
We lost our son Hendrix very unexpectedly on 14th April at just 24 weeks old, something which neither of us thought we'd ever have to face. Ever since then we've wanted to find a way to keep his memory alive and try to do something positive to help other people who are in a similar position.
It only felt right to do something with Freddie, since we very first found out about the pregnancy we told nobody else for weeks apart from Fred - it was our own little secret between the four of us. We've been through it all together.
It's not much, but we hope that through whatever we can raise for this great charity, it can find its way and help someone in this position.
Your support means so much to me and to Sands, whose vision is for a world where fewer babies die, and where a baby sadly does, parents get the best possible care and support they deserve, for as long as they need. Thank you.
