Our father Joe sadly passed away in November 2020, and his only wish was to be at home surrounded by his family. With the help and support of the extraordinary team at Hospice Isle of Man, we were so fortunate and immensely grateful to be able to do this for our Dad. 

We can never thank the team enough, however in reality they need more than thank you’s to continue this vital work, and as such we feel it is important for us to show our appreciation by way of fundraising as much as we can in memory of our father. This fundraising will support the amazing team at the hospice to continue to give other families the care, dedication and compassion that we received. 

So...... we have decided to attempt another challenge with a difference!

We have decided to take part in this years Parish Walk on 19th June. Claire has completed the 85mile course previously, and having not taken part for seven years has decided to dust off her walking shoes and give it another go. John and Lee on the other hand, are both Parish newbies, and will be attempting to get to Peel, but with a twist! 

To honor a very long standing bet with family and friends, John will be attempting to get to Peel (32.5miles) wearing Socks and Slides 🩴 😩 

Lee does not live on the island, and so will be attempting to clock up the 32.5 miles on the day (in appropriate footwear!) from afar, due to current covid restrictions.
