Our big walk:

7 years ago we did a big walk in memory of our wonderful friend who was taken too soon.

This year we want to get the gang back together and take on a (slightly less) gruelling walk to raise money for PWS research, in support of my son's rare genetic condition.

FPWR UK are the leaders in PWS research for our country and are attempting to find treatments (and hopefully one day a cure!) for this very complex genetic condition.

Our walk will take us along the beautiful South West Coast Path, from Sennen Cove to Mousehole, taking in many of the sights that it was too dark for us to see last time!

We are notoriously crap at any sort of training so will be doing this 16 miler with tonnes of enthusiasm and very little else!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The mission of Foundation for Prader-Willi Research UK (FPWR UK) is to eliminate the challenges of Prader-Willi Syndrome through the advancement of research. High quality research will lead to more effective treatments and an eventual cure for this disorder. FPWR UK was founded in 2010 by parents of children with Prader-Willi Syndrome.
