This one's for Dad.

Cancer is cruel, unforgiving and unkind. When faced with these things all we can do is fight them with love, help and kindness. It's hard to imagine how difficult it is to suffer from or support those suffering from cancer until it happens to you. Having people around you to talk to and offer you help in any way is invaluable.

This is why we're taking part in the hike; to help contribute in some way to the incredible work that Macmillan does in offering help and support so that, until cancer is beaten for good, no-one should suffer alone.
