Diagnosed with prostate cancer in January 2025 followed by surgery to remove my Prostate in March. Today the 8th May I received the fabulous news that the surgery was successful and I am cancer free. I still have some healing to do but determined to organise a fundraising event for friends & family to Climb the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money to say thank you to the NHS, PCUK and the specialist nursing teams who have been invaluable in my treatment. Prostate Cancer is the highest diagnosed Cancer for men and if identified and treated early enough can be beaten. Research in this area needs funding to prevent 000’s of men’s lives and their loved ones being impacted by this horrific illness.
