Theo's Mito Crusade
Campaign by Just4Children (RCN 1164473)
Just4Children are raising money to support a brave, determined and cheeky little boy to give him the opportunities he deserves through access to therapies and equipment not available on the NHS.

Story

We are joining up with friends and family all over the world to walk, run or cycle together for Theo's cause. Mitochondrial diseases affect around 1 in 5000 people, so we are asking that your challenge revolves around the number 5, whether that be 5 or 50km, 50,000 steps, 500 miles, be ambitious!

Theo has been doing so well since being in isolation with his speech and strength, but he hasn't had any professional therapy for months (except some virtual physio, which isn't quite the same) and it sounds like it will be quite a while before the NHS services get up and running again. Theo is currently shielding but once he's allowed back out to see people we want to give him the best chance at learning to walk, talk and be as independent as he can.

His grandmother asked to set up this funding page as she can see the potential in her grandson, if he could get quality and consistent therapies along with the equipment he needs to go with it, then who knows what he could achieve!
