Pendleside Hospice

John Driver is raising money for Pendleside Hospice
In memory of Terry Corteen
Pendleside Hospice believes in nurturing and caring for those in our local community affected by advancing long term and life limiting illness, through to end of life care and bereavement, by providing a range of comprehensive and easily accessible services to support them on their journey.

Story

EDIT: This fundraiser was initially set up by my Dad, John Driver, in honour of my uncle, Terry Corteen, after Uncle Terry received wonderful support from the team at Pendleside Hospice. Dad completed the Berwickshire Coastal Path walk earlier this year and raised over £1000 for the Hospice in less than a week.

Yesterday, on the 1st of October, my Dad passed away peacefully at the Hospice.

I know that my Dad touched the hearts and minds of many. In lieu of flowers, we ask anybody who wishes to honour him does so by donating here to help continue the fundraising that he started, as a thank you for the incredible care he received at Pendleside.

To Dad, I hope that you and Uncle Terry are looking after each other  x

'On the 3rd of May, I will be walking the Berwickshire Coastal Path, in memory of my dear friend Terry Corteen.
If anyone would like to sponsor me, all contributions will be donated to Pendleside Hospice
Thank you, John'
